We're Here to Help You Grow Your Business

Thriving in Times of Uncertainty: Tips & Resources for FECs

If you've had to close your business due to COVID-19, you may find it difficult to remain optimistic about your growth.

But remember, every obstacle is an opportunity. Now is the time to re-evaluate any and all business decisions, brainstorm new offerings, strategize for the future, and boost your activity on social media to remain engaged with your customers.

This period of social distancing won't last forever. It's critical that you're prepared to take action once you're given the O-K to re-open your facility!

Below, you'll find a list of projects you can start working on today using Party Center Software. Get your team involved, even if you're "working from home", so that when your doors swing open again you’ll come back better than ever.

1. Software Training: Discover New Features

Have you completed your Party Center Software training? Do you need a refresh? Now is the time to get your employees trained or schedule additional training for areas of the software that you might not be familiar with.

We're happy to schedule group training sessions via Zoom. Contact us and we'll get one of our Support or CSM team members to help you.

2. Marketing: Nurture Your Prospects & Customers

Now is the time to re-evaluate your marketing strategy. Do you have an active newsletter? Are you nurturing prospects and customers?

Your dedicated Customer Success Manager would be happy to show you how to use our reports to pull information such as email and birth date data. You can then use those lists to create successful email campaigns and re-market to customers.

3. Social Media: Keep Your Audience Engaged

Are you actively engaging your customers on social media? Does your profile link to your online bookings page or online store? Posting once daily at minimum can help you remain connected with your customers and attract new ones. Adding the right links to your profile will drive visitors where you want them to go.

Here are some post ideas you can use to drive engagement:

  • Challenges - We all remember the Ice Bucket Challenge, right? What about making your OWN challenge? Encourage contestants to record a 10-second clip of them drawing your facility's mascot while blindfolded. Then, post the videos to your Facebook page and ask people to vote for the best blind-folded drawing. If you offer bowling or mini-bowling, have contestants build an at-home bowling alley using household supplies. If you have another attraction, use that! The most creative project wins!

4. Website: Update Your Offerings

Consider taking this time to update your party packages, upload more recent images of your facility to your website or add new items to your online store

We've also seen other FECs add a donation item to their online storefront for anyone willing to pitch in.

If you don't currently have an online store set up, contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager. They're waiting to chat with you about this tool!

5. PC Pay: Let's Get Set Up

Taking this time to transition to PC Pay is another way you can improve your business and save yourself some money, too!
